    The venous transverse sinus
    are the veins that collect blood from the brain and return it to the heart.  This is much less damaging then an arterial clot (supply to the brain), but still can be very bad if not detected and treated.

    My wife had a venous sinus clot in February, and is back to 100% after 6 months of blood thinners.
    Wishing the Secretary a speedy recovery.
