    The Last Refuge by Chris Knopf.
    I agree that The Gun Seller held my attention and made me laugh even though such awful things were happening.

    Too bad there was only one book.

    I am glad you like your Kindle.  They just look to small for me.

      size of a paperback.  I really, really had my doubts, but I decided to give it a try.  I got the Kindle Fire, so I read for awhile and then play games, then back to reading.  We travel to Michigan's Upper Peninsula about once a month, and it's much nicer to have the Kindle than a book - I can read in the dark, put it down and pick it up without losing my place, and it's much easier to transport and hold than books are.  Not that I still don't take books along, but I stick to the Kindle while we're traveling.

      There were four new e-readers under the tree this Christmas. I got the Kindle Fire, my son got a Nexus, my daughter got a Kindle Paperwhite, and her boyfriend got a basic Kindle.
