Because you seem to acknowledge that the dems are never going to pass anything progressive.

The revolution will not be televised. But it will be blogged, a lot. Probably more so than is necessary.

    •  So you have no better plan then, got it. nt (0+ / 0-)
      •  Not making any progress (3+ / 0-)

Isn't a plan in any world I've heard of. Or is this the magic plan where we make progress by going backwards? Are you even a progressive or just another neoliberal telling folks to get in line and vote or it'll be even worse?

        •  Republicans exist (0+ / 0-)

conservatives exist, "centrists" exist, corporatists exist.  They all have a stake in the nation, you can't just wish them away.

America is not a leftist or socialist or Green country no matter how much I'd love it to be.  I am a Democratic Socialist but I know where I live and I'll take what I can get, where I can get it.  Transformational progress is a long-term, always uphill battle full of compromises, setbacks and disappointments.  There is no magic policy or tactic or revolution that will usher in a new age overnight.

          •  Progressives exist. So does the left (5+ / 0-)

How do you suggest they achieve their goals by voting for what Centrist and Conservatives want?

This was a simple question. You have not answered it.

Frankly, you don't need to. We both you can't.

When you and other conservatves here masquerading as "concerned" try to pretend that you don't understand the basic thesis by using words like "magic" (why is it any less magic to cave to the right than to the left? in your mind (assuming you have a mind to think with and actually answer questions asked rather than ignore it (and yes I attacked you there and no that's no an ad honimem because its a separate point about the level of discourse you offer here)).

At the end of the day., I find this sort of exchange tedious, and I believe it is meant to be. You were asked a simple question. Answer it or stop trying to exhaust the questioner simply by posting the same statements of avoidance. No one here is an idiot. We can see what you are doing.

got Fed Election Funds.  Change is happening?

Stein got arrested at least three times during the campaign.  More will need to do so it seems....

          •  Employ more useful strategies than voting D. (0+ / 0-)

All of the moves Left in this country have been accomplished not by voting for some politicians but through organization and direct action.

The more people wake up to the fact that Ds exist to co-opt social movements and sell them out, the more energy will be directed to where it can actually achieve something.
