    The St. Marks Church at 601 8th Street Laurel, Maryland. Would-be Klansmen planned to burn the church in 1967, but found out it was made of cinder block and tried to burn a nearby home (formerly located at far left of photo) instead. My brother Craig wrote a more extensive account of the attack below:
