    a power sharing deal with a GOPer who had a faction of at least 17.  Say Richard Hanna of New York.  If Hanna had 16 other members of his party willing to stage a coup, Pelosi could back him for Speaker and get committee parity, some Chairmanships, and other things as a reward.  This was done in both Tennessee and Texas a few years back.

    That said, not gonna happen.  The GOP will go behind closed doors and either depose Boehner or, more likely, not.  They will then come out and vote unanimously for the party's candidate for Speaker.  It's how they roll.
