    faction of the GOP is going to continue to wield veto power or major influence over the future course of the party.

    Untangling that question,I have predicted, is going to involve a rather bloody battle, and if we are lucky, the party may damage itself for  years to come in the process.  It has already started to do so and in spades.  That House failure to vote on Sandy relief after passage of the Senate bill is going to be a devastatingly stupid move by the party....especially after promising a stalwart like Peter King that it was going to be voted upon.

    Free markets would be a great idea, if markets were actually free.
