Glen Grothman is a tea party member and was one of the Wisconsin senators that we tried to recall.  Unfortunately his senate district is in a very red Republican part of the state and we couldn't get enough signatures to put him up for recall.  This is an older single guy who has never been married, has no children and lives with his mother.  There are videos of him on Youtube attending tea party meetings and making ridiculous speeches.  It looks like Wisconsin will be stuck with this bozo until he dies or retires.

In February 2012, Grothman introduced Senate Bill 507, which would amend Wisconsin statutes to emphasize single parenthood as a contributing factor to child abuse and neglect.  Grothman has also argued that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day should not be a work holiday, calling the day off "an insult to all the other taxpayers around the state".  So you see what we have to put up with in Wisconsin.

There was a wonderful piece of snark somewhere about a proposed song for racists, "I'm Dreaming of a White Kwanzaa".
