    are they hoping people will have forgotten about it by then so they can forget to put it on the schedule?

      "constituent work week" according to the majority leader's new calendar for 2013. So, they'll all be out of town. Optimally, congress will be at work for 5 and a half days this month, according to my count. The 15th does fall on one of those days, but I sure wouldn't bet on anything getting done, unless a post office is renamed.

      next two weeks off. They get sworn in tomorrow, but the first day of the new Congress is on Jan 15.

      Tough job, huh? I guess that swearing in ceremony takes  a lot out of you. One of the things that ticked off King and company is that they knew the earliest this was going to pass was the end of January.
