You and I agree on enough issues. I have no idea what the ongoing and apparently feud is that you have with some members here, and frankly, I'm afraid to find out.

But honestly, I find your "feudal lord"  comments here troubling.

Al Jazeera in English's coverage of Middle East events and issues is far superior to what we currently have.

Ownership of major media is something I do pay attention to and there are issues that concern me. For example, the defense contractor GE owns 49% of NBC news, and there are times when Brian Williams (whom I generally like) doesn't report the full story when it comes to GE/defense issues. Oh, if it's a lightbulb issue, they'll make a big deal out of showing how independent they are. Defense? Not so much.

How much do we REALLY hear about defense waste and spending on MSNBC, for that matter? The MSNBC hosts go after Republicans and certain lobbies. Defense? Not as much.

Fox, meh, it's all been discussed before.  Watch CBS, and you don't see much criticism of telecom and attendant protective legislation.

So yeah, no one should be prepared to watch only Current or whatever they call it in the future. But no one should consume only one (or two) media anyhow. Consuming MSNBC and DailyKos  only is not an adequate diet, even if you toss the occasional Current in there.

This diversifies the media diet for many Americans. I don't think it's a bad thing at all.

Your diary with its unfortunate stereotypes, however, well,  I find those less than healthy.

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.
