no matter what argument is made against Obama, that's still what you see.  It's as though it makes no difference what anyone says, if they criticize Obama they're the enemy.

On an unrelated note, the diary sucks.

In politics, there is the class war. Everything else is naming post offices.

There are hundreds to choose from here at Dkos.

    •  I'm paraphrasing the conclusion of this diary. (0+ / 0-)

My comment is a gently sarcastic distillation of:

Through the procrastination of the current administration, the procrastination to lead, we are running up against the real risk that the next round of Brinksmanship will mute for the American public any tangible evidence that the current citadel of the left in the Democratic Party is much different than the Republican agenda in a real long term sense.
I don't think there's any danger whatsoever of Democrats ever being mistaken for Republicans, so I'm having a little dig at the diarist for claiming so.
It's as though it makes no difference what anyone says, if they criticize Obama they're the enemy.
No, that's just your opinion, redolent as it is with all its own observational biases.
      •  That's fine. Only you're the one making the Obama (0+ / 0-)

connection not the diary to Republicans.

The diary is about leadership and the risks that by default of not leading, there won't be a distinction between the outcomes of either agendas of the parties.

That will be fact after April.

        •  No it won't, it'll still just be your opinion. (1+ / 0-)

Here's an actual fact for you, though.  I've been offline for Christmas, so I've (thankfully) missed out on the usual crying and screaming that goes on around Daily Kos when the Leftier Than Thou crowd don't get everything they want -- and I can assure you with 100% factual certainty that nobody outside Daily Kos even really has any idea what on earth you're getting so het up about.

It's only navel-gazing political addicts like die-hard Kossacks who can't even drag themselves away from the fray for a bit of real, live family time over the holidays who are drawing these kinds of hyperventilating conclusions.  Out there in the real world, President Obama is still doing a great job and people are thrilled and delighted he's still President.

That's a fact now, and it will still be a fact after April.  Don't kid yourself your viewpoint is held by anything approaching a majority of people.  It simply isn't.

    •  lots of large words (0+ / 0-)

      lots of clauses

      lots of fuzzy writing

Can you mute evidence unless it's an audio or video recording? Do they have a remote control for that?
