    in explaining criminal behavior in the case of poverty and physical deprivation, than it would in explaining criminal, sociopathic behavior by somebody who was raised behind hedges, on a wooded estate, who attended prep school.

      His observation is that children already on the edge would be more likely to be pushed over it when the effects of lead poisoning are added to the mix.

      As to the second case, I rather think a case could be made that exposure to too much money can be as toxic as lead (if in a different way) and cause life long effects.
