  •  And when the media constantly claims it's (11+ / 0-)

"both sides" to blame for the suckage? We're not fighting against Republicans and their bad ideas. We're fighting the corporations that control the media AND the Republicans (and far more Democrats then I want to admit).

What's wrong with America? I'll tell you. Everything Romney said was pre-chewed wads of cud from Republicans from the last 30 years and yet he managed thru a combination of racism and selling the (false) hope of riches to get 47% of the national vote.

      We're fighting...
That's the part that I have yet to see from our leaders.

It's very rare for real change to come from the top in the US. It takes millions demanding it for enough politicians to be unwilling to stand against it. Yes, a leader can emerge to grab a moment (FDR and the New Deal) but think of all the other changes and what it took to make them happen. The bigger the change, the more the resistance. Newton's Laws of Motion apparently apply to politics as well.

I think we need to trust the fact that voters are smarter than media pundits. This is something Democrats should be ale to pride themselves on: keeping faith in the people to read between the lines and make the right decisions. Obama-Biden 2012 shows that our biggest challenge is not the media, but getting people to the polls. When they get there, they will show that they can easily make up their own minds without relying on the media to tell them what to think.
