    is one of my very favorite pieces of music, in any style. The opening harp melody is just breathaking. I haven't been able to get that out of my head for ~15 years now.

    Debussy scores tend to be tough to read & analyze....frequent key changes (so lots of accidentals), syncopated rhythms, and his unique sense of phrasing and structure....but it's very rewarding, once you're able to wrap your head around what he's done.

    The two sets of piano preludes that he did are essential listening as well....he's capable of investing so much meaning into such tiny gestures.
