    40% of democratic leaning households own a firearm. That's a lot of votes to lose. Do you really think that support of gun control will gain enough votes to make up for the loss? Particularly in the swing states, like Penn, Ohio, Florida, Nevada, NM, NC, Virginia, Iowa, Wisconsin?

    I have voted D (except for Nader in 2000) in every election, but I will not vote for anyone that supports infringing on American's liberties.
    If this issue is enough to convince a Nader voter to stay home, I seriously doubt I will be the only one.

    Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.
