but THIS diary is a thing of raw, unadulterated, straightforward Word Power beauty:

The entire Kansas delegation voted against the bill, even though you can be sure their hands will be out soon enough after the next tornado.

Eight Texas Republicans voted “no”, even as 100% of Ike-related expenses are still being covered by U.S. taxpayers four years after that hurricane tore through Galveston.

Several “no” votes came from members from Florida, the Carolinas, Alabama and Mississippi, who should know a thing or two about wind- and flood-borne devastation and misery....And, of course, there was also a “no” vote from Paul Ryan, Wisconsin's “Mr. Warmth”.

We can't talk this point up enough, folks. Those people are crooked, heartless, hypocritical bastards. Thanks for this very important contribution, Richard. After I send my daily letter to Mr. Obama--reminding him to uphold the Democratic value of not cutting Social Security to appease a handful of economic terrorists--now I have a partial list of names to go with the faces of said terrorists.

So I can spend some time reminding these people exactly what representative government is, and more importantly, what it is not. They need to understand that people are paying attention this time--they either don't get that or they really are sociopaths and they just don't care.

It is time to #Occupy Media.
