  •  Starting to think the only reason... (9+ / 0-)

    The Republicans want government...

Is to prevent the poor from doing to them EXACTLY what they do to the poor daily.

Oh and to protect us from communists, no wait!  fascists, OH sorry, we meant Terrorists!  Which of course entails invading other countries and taking their stuff for the rich!

/Trying to turn off the cynicism, but DAMMIT...

I don't blame Christians. I blame Stupid. Which sadly is a much more popular religion these days.

America has seemingly always needed a perpetual Enemy.

You would have thunk by now,
we would have out grown that tendency.

Of going to war against an idea.  Real war.  With Real lives, hanging in the balance.

As most generals say, they want a concrete achievable objective, before they send their troops out into battle.

What, is ask, Is our Objective now? After so much cost in blood and treasure.

Isn't it time to fix the Filibuster?

        Above your security clearance, citizen!

Even knowing that there IS an objective is above your security clearance.

Remember, Trust No one!  Keep your Firearms Handy!  The Computer is your Friend!

(Sorry, that was a perfect opportunity for a Paranoia joke.)
