......the "Yes" total is now up to 28, which is shocking to me, just as oculus alluded to.  Says something for the Rescue Rangers and the 'trickle down' effect there, obviously.

Also noticed very little loser chit-chat, and much of it is really about the opera.  Will wonders never cease :) .

Yer not the only opera lover here!

(Maybe if you did opera diaries that weren't prefaced with "losers club" -- ?)

To make the argument that the media has a left- or right-wing, or a liberal or a conservative bias, is like asking if the problem with Al-Qaeda is do they use too much oil in their hummus. Al Franken

      •  well, it is a mash-up, and I do make sure..... (0+ / 0-)

....to use the SNLC acronym when the evening's offering is a mash-up :) .  Plus, DM got some response when he did the series, so it was clear then that there was an opera-goer underground at DK.  It just needed someone to cover it semi-regularly.

But if nothing else, whenever there is a Met HD-cast and I actually get to it, it saves me the trouble of having to think of a subject.  The trick is writing the danged diary just after the HD-cast, in time for the evening.
