    I was still in graduate school and studying philosophy when I attempted Spinoza. I don't know that I'd have the patience, let alone the requisite brain cells, to read him now.

    In the (unlikely?) event that you have read Ludwig Wittgenstein, Wittgenstein's first book was intentionally  organized in the same manner as Spinoza's Tractatus (and was given a similar title), in numbered statements intended to represent steps in a logical argument.

    Wittgenstein. Gay. But you knew that, right? He was severely tortured by his sexuality and in fact distanced himself from Bertrand Russell, one of his teachers who he greatly admired, because of his discomfort with himself and his attractions.
