    the only person in this marriage who is biologically related to the children.  In the case of a divorce, if a couple had children born of a surrogate mother or resulting from donor eggs, do courts favor the husband as custodial parent, because the wife isn't biologically related?

      ..the courts tend to recognize parenthood of married couples if the child is born during their marriage, whether or not the non-bio parent formally "adopts," say, a child from a surrogate. If these folks' marriage isn't considered valid and the children were not formally adopted, what rights would the non-bio parent have if the bio parent contests custody?
