    here, lauristina, and I love every one of your stories and also your website. I have a son who is not transgendered, but who has always struggled with fitting into a world that doesn't understand him. I relate so well to your feelings of frustration and love, and efforts to help your child in an unfriendly world. I admire your writing and commitment to understanding what your daughter went through. You are a role model for me...I would love to be able to communicate our own situation in my life as well as you do :)

      Seriously.  Motherhood is not for the faint of heart, indeed.  So many of us struggle with our kids for whatever reson.  We should all feel compassion for other parents and the struggles their children face.  

      Even if you don't think it's worthy of a diary, try it sometime.  You'll be pleasantly surprised!
