    Progressive radio has such a tenuous foothold. Advertisers pulling out of radio simply to avoid a backlash, no matter the source, could be a bad thing. I hope not.

      When we inform advertisers that their ads are running on Rush's show, they usually ask the station (as is their right under contract) to remove his show from the rotation for their ads. If the ads are working at all, the advertisers aren't going to abandon radio, that is, they are not going to turn down normal business.
