Episcopal church nearby.  Not sure all are liberal, but they seem to be on the cutting edge of civilized thinking with a gay bishop and female clergy.  Our bishop is female and I believe the US bishop is female, so we aren't afraid to let actual experienced people with actual life experiences like marriage and child rearing, etc.  I enjoy talking to the people at my church even though politics never come into play.  That isn't to say we don't have disagreements.  There are people who think singing is a waste of time or spending money on keeping lights on in the parking lot.  Real important issues.  On the Sunday near the fourth of July, we have a national honor the country service to honor troops, Indians, founders, African Americans, etc and sing the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.  The choir usually sings the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and the congregation is encouraged to sing along.  It is fun and we don''t have any stuck up Pro-Life activists or Preppers or what have you.  Check it out, you may find a new home.  Amazing how I'm not one to evangelize but here it is.
