that is reflected by happenings in towns and cities across America --- "Pockets of gun-related crimes..."

...Pockets of gun-related crimes are found in north, east and south Tulsa.

Police wrote 99 to 138 firearm-related crime reports per square mile in each of the seven areas between August 2009 and July 2012. The firearm-related crimes included assault, robbery and homicide. Police write a report for each victim affected by a crime, and the way a crime is classified in a report may change during an investigation...

    (emphasis added)

    Truly chilling, isn't it?

is that the red, hotspot area in South Tulsa is ONE intersection and the four blocks that surround it .... that is four square blocks, not sixteen.

It is in the wealthiest part of town.

I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
but I fear we will remain Democrats.

      Who is twigg?

and take a look at the numbers. The color-coded gun crime density map makes me think of those dangerous storm-tracking maps posted by weatherdude and others --- and the photo of kids playing at the center of one of the worst of the "pockets" reminds vividly just how sickening this all really is.

Thank you, twigg, for that link. Wish you could import that map for all to see.
