    despite being harshly criticized by everyone, for anything,  the Govt meekly writes a check for 25 Billion , gives up it's remaining shares in AIG, makes an explicit guarantee of Tax payer support, and finally , at long last, Obama uses his pardon power to not only pardon thousands of current and former AIG employees for past deeds but future deeds too.

    The stock rockets to $300.00 a share. The board reacts by splitting the shares 5:1 bring the per share price to $60.

    Hank Greenburg  sails into the company he was banished from with the aid of Elliot Spitzer, and proclaims "we are open for business. We will be a leader in  Credit Default Swaps and any other derivative that poses an extreme risk , not to us, but to the American Tax Payer. God Bless them and the United States of America."

    We are all Derivatives Now.
