I'm grateful for the populist outrage but...

And you guys still couldn't bring yourselves to vote for it, because of some stupid principle that you yourselves only occasionally live by.  And here's the thing.  If you guys can't vote for this, then we're fucked for the next two years.  And I'm not saying you're responsible for all the problems facing our country, but you sure are making them a lot harder to fix.
...I don't really see where he's going with this.

These men (they are all men except for Lynn Jenkins, Marsha Blackburn and Virginia Foxxxxxx, who is of indeterminate gender, and they are all white OF COURSE) have no sense of shame nor accountability. Stewart spend however many minutes demonstrating this as if it were a tautology. Then he turns around and tries to appeal to their reason, and their sense of shame? Bullshit. This was political revenge aimed at Christie, spearheaded by Ryan, by a bunch of white supremacists who believe their own hype that Hurricane Sandy cost Romney the election. IOW, they ARE the problem.

are among the most clueless jerks in the US House.  Blackburn is everywhere on cable TV.  She is a marathon talker - spewing and spouting extreme right wing nutcase ideas and never breathing.  It is hard for any interviewer to stop her.

Foxx is utterly and positively a disgusting and hateful human being.

Their districts must be filed with low information FOXNews viewers - or worse.

but I believe Tim Scott (R-SC) would've gladly voted against Sandy relief as well had he still been in the House that day.

disgusting, despicable piece of shit. But as a genderqueer person I'm not thrilled about what seems to me to be using gender- binary nonconforming as an insult.

Don't wanna be hypersensitive, but I am a stand-up progressive and arguably also of indeterminate gender.

      Just sayin'.

Maybe just maybe our foremothers and our forefathers came to this land in different ships. But we're all in the same boat now. - John Lewis
