    you what he had learned--free of smarm, attitude or that weird, high and mighty, assistant vice-principal vibe that some of our local news anchors have in California, he was a welcome relief that broke through the jadedness that comes with residing in the seen-it-all-done-it-all-have-the-t-shirt state.

    More than once he made you say, 'I didn't know that was here. We've gotta do that once,' and in doing so he made California a desirable tourist destination to Californians.

    The choice of our lifetime: Mitt Romney, It Takes A Pillage or President Barack Obama, Forward Together.
