I always wonder with people like this, as I do with Hannity, O'Reilly, and the rest of the Faux crew, to what degree they actually believe the blatantly insane BS they're peddling and how much it's just marketing for their entertainment act.  I mean, Burton didn't really believe he was seeing a ghost when he played Hamlet, but he gave a damn good imitation of it.  With some of them, you can sort of see that it's genuine -- e.g., Coulter always strikes me as genuinely batshit deranged and evil.  But most of the time I don't know what to think.

Then again, some of the most evil villains in literature (e.g., Richard III) and history (e.g., Hitler) were among the greatest of thespians, sort of almost aesthetes of their own acting-out of evil.   E.g., one of the sources of the, IMO, greatness of Olivier's performance in his film of "Richard III" is that, as he himself admitted, he took a great deal of his nonverbals, prosody, etc., from his study of Hitler.   Maybe, ultimately, it doesn't make any difference whether you believe your own batshit line or not -- ultimately, for many people, the play's the thing, the performance, not thhip politics or philosophy.

I listened to this guy because I have been following the whole saga of John McAfee and he was going to be doing an interview on the Alex Jones podcast.  The first time it was when John McAfee was still on the run and in hiding.

I tuned in at precisely the correct time so only had to listen to the advertisements.  Boy Howdy, survivalist crap + 1.

Then recently there was another interview on their so-called news hour.  OMG, the stuff he spouted was crazy town.  New World Order, they are coming to take your guns, why is Homeland Security buying up all the ammo? Obama is a socialist.  They are coming to enslave you.

Then he had the nerve to question the things that John McAfee was saying?  His stuff was way more believable at least. Then he tried to twist McAfee into agreeing with one of his New World Order plots.

This guy is dangerous if he really does have a following.  He appeals to people who want to believe that everyone is out to get them and it is all some kind of grand conspiracy to make you...yes YOU...and your life miserable.  THEY are responsible for your failures...THEM. It was pretty scary.

He was so over the top it seemed to me like it was fictional.
