It's not going to go away and everytime the GOP wins a state they will continue to attempt to suppress and disenfranchise voters.

If Democrats spike their guns, they will never be able to use it again.

What Dems should do when they gain a state is pass legislation that creates a free, readily available photo ID that can be used not only to vote, but to cash a cheque, open a banking account or buy alcohol.  Make it as secure and tamper proof as possible.

Introduce this as soon as sworn in and spend the next four years ensuring every eligible voter has this card prior to the next election.  Make sure it is simple, easy and completely free of charge to obtain.

Then pass legislation requiring use of this card to vote and exclude all other forms of ID such as driver's licenses.

Finally, prior to the election, ensure all voter rolls are up to date and certified as clean and require an annual audit by a non-partisan commission to ensure that they are kept that way.

Should the GOP win the next election, they will find it all but impossible to claim voter fraud or for the need for restrictive voting requirements since everyone will already have ID and be proven to be eligible to vote.

Tax and Spend I can understand. I can even understand Borrow and Spend. But Borrow and give Billionaires tax cuts? That I have a problem with.
