    ... they grow as a weed in my yard because the birds and the chipmunks "planted" the seeds of the fruit they ate a couple years ago.  I haven't planted them since because I didn't really care for them in salads or cooking with them.  Maybe the jam will do the trick!

    Please do not be alarmed. We are about to engage... the nozzle.

      is that you don't have to do anything more than rinse them before plopping them in the cooking pot. I didn't want to attempt a process that required removing the skin and seeds. The number & size of the tomatoes would make it too tedious for me.

      Some people were leery about trying tomato jam. I learned to surprise people if I didn't already know that they were adventurous foodies.

      Funny how the animals plant food for us or is it for themselves?
