  •  Cantor's going to change his mind when he (6+ / 0-)

he hears from his constituents in VA who are being furloughed or having their jobs eliminated as jobs are cut on military bases throughout the state of Virginia.

Then there are the trickle-down economic effects: Joe Blow at the shipyard and his buddies lost their jobs, so they no longer eat at the diner for lunch or go to the bowling alley and have a few beers while bowling some strikes. The ripples are like a stone thrown in the still waters of a pond. You don't know when it's going to swamp your boat till it hits.

So go home to VA, Congressman Cantor, and get an ear full from the people who voted for you. I imagine now most of them consider that to be a mistake.

Especially now that you admit you're the reason the sequester took place in the first place.

I don't believe that Cantor cares about any pain inflicted on his constituents.  Remember when he stood against any disaster relief for Virginia unless it could be offset?

He believes he is in such a strong Republican district, that the voters will stick with him no matter what.  And if they get any ideas, he can use money from his corporate masters to media bomb and confuse them.
