    I like meltdowns where we follow the law better than 'business as usual' where we don't.

    Besides, it's not like Repubs won't negotiate. They just probably want more than the Dems are willing to give. No matter how unreasonable people think it is, it's 'just' a policy dispute. Make your case better or win more elections.

      lines of school uniforms.  The stakes are quite high and selling the White House and Capitol would be short-sighted and destructive as much of the Republican agenda is.

        That President Obama just gave them 88% of what they wanted in revenue cuts. And now we're whining about the debt ceiling.
