firearms of hundreds of millions of Americans have infringed on people's rights both in this country, and all over the world, and continue to do so to this day.

All the guns are going to go. Sorry, but that's the way it is. I know that makes you uncomfortable. Try to be happy in it. ; )

Comparing phones to guns is banal and insipid even for a gunnie. I really like "innocent American liberties," too. Maybe you'll clue me in as to what a "guilty American liberty" might be.

    •  You are wrong. (0+ / 0-)

And you are pushing to infringe on the liberties of innocent Americans because of your irrational fears.

"Comparing phones to guns is banal and insipid even for a gunnie. "
I was comparing the right-wing's infringements on the 4th Amendment, with your push to infringe on the 2nd.
Strangely, I find comparing constitutional liberties to.....ya know....constitutional liberties as appropriate.

Well, this comment did give me a belly laugh, so I guess that is a good start.

Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.

Constitution is a foul and putrid document. It enshrined human slavery. And now, in the interest of infringing the liberties of innocent Americans, you rely on this same festering pile of moldering verbiage to bless your killing machine, the sad and sorry emblem of your living in fear.

        •  The only part of the Constitution that mentions (0+ / 0-)

          slavery is the 13th Amendment.
          The 13th Amendment ended slavery.

          Clearly, you are a scholar.

Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.

you are wholly ignorant of the foul and putrid document to which you bitterly cling so that you may continue to live in fear with your killing machine.

Try Article I, Section 2; Article I, Section 9; Article IV, Section 2; Article V.

            •  Like I said. (0+ / 0-)

No where, except in the 13th Amendment does it mention 'slavery'.
Go ahead and quote where the word 'slavery' exists.

But I get it. You hate the laws of the USA & distrust the American people.
How glorious it is that you live here!

Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.
