There are no Murdochs on the Board of Carnegie Hall.  Lots of Bankers, pols, both R and D,  no surprise there. One Jacobs, not Jacob. No former Sec. Treas or AGS.

Leaves me with his one very literally and physically tangential connection between Obama admin and Carnegie Hall which is one of my favorite Obama roast lines.

Carnegie Hall is  20 feet from the Russia Tearoom Restaurant.

In Obama's 08 Alfred Smith roast of McCain when he said at the dinner at the Waldorf Astoria that he was disappointed as he had been promised he could see the Russian Tea Room from the steps of the hotel, which is as (im) possible in NYC geography on a much smaller scale as seeing Russia from Wasilia  or whatever Palin's home town is called. Also there is no longer anything Russian about the ownership of the Tearoom. and the food, while Russian, is not very good.

Hope that cheered you up for missing your metaphor.

"Are you bluish? You don't look bluish," attributed to poet Roger Joseph McGough, for the Beatles' Yellow Submarine (1968).
