    ... have, "...beliefs [that] reflect this administration’s vision of inclusion and acceptance for all Americans."

    Inconveniently, though, too many religious "leaders" overlook how Jesus' ministry adamantly shows inclusion and acceptance as key.  He didn't push the lady into the well, he didn't body slam Zaccheus into the street, etc.

    My inclination is that if there is a religious statement or invocation at the inauguration, it might be done by someone more likely to be "inclusive" and these days, that wouldn't generally be a widely known "christian."

        followers.  It's awfully convenient that every believer thinks that they know what god wants more than others, and that what their god wants just happens to coincide with what that believer wants...

      there have been examples of Christian clergy through the entire history of Christianity who don't reflect that vision.  Why should 2013 be any different in that regard?

      I'm not a Christian, but like with anything, caveat emptor, that label "Christian" doesn't give you the whole picture.

      (Same with any other label on clergy from any other religion).
