        won't be repeating that mistake any time soon. Not after the national outrage, lawsuit and $1 million penalty. No, going forward I would not be concerned for my own kid or any other kid at UCD for exercising their free speech rights. I think that UCD will be very careful in handling student demonstrations in the future.

        69% of the UCD faculty voted in Katehi's favor in a no-confidence vote, and separately the UCD board decided to continue her employment as chancellor. From that I gather that Katehi does a decent job, or better, as chancellor.
