    budget requests each and every year he's been in office on or before the due date. They've been reasonable and complete, as you'd expect from PBO. Here's the Overview of PBO's 2013 budget request due by the first Monday in February. I haven't read much of it yet, it's long, specific, detailed, comprehensive, and supported with appropriate documentation, tables, etc., as usual.

    The problems will start when it gets to the House Budget Committee where it will be ignored and they will instead update and reissue the Republican manifesto. The Senate will invoke some technicality to avoid doing much budget work and will instead proceed directly to appropriations bills. The House appropriations subcommittees will get some staffers to write some bills, too. They'll get through markup and most of them will pass in the House. Almost none of it will ever get to the President's desk to be signed (stuck "in conference," I guess) and Republicans will blame PBO for that.
