'When a democrat wins, the pastor should preach tolerance and inclusion.

WHO INVITED THAT ASSHOLE RIGHTWING NUTJOB?!'

    XD

    Ah, humanity.

I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.

    •  Real intolerance (7+ / 0-)

would be shutting down Giglio's church and throwing his ass in jail. Withdrawing his invitation to speak at an inaugural event is hardly intolerance.

There is a major difference between leftist "intolerance" and conservative intolerance. Liberals are intolerant of policies based on right-wing religious wacko theology.  Most of us dont dispute their right to believe in that theology, just their right to inflict it on others.

      •  Your are missing the supermegaimportant point (0+ / 0-)

Which is that the Obama administration is intolerant of intolerance!  He campaigns on "one America" and a big tent, then he gets re-elected and suddenly he's all

        No bigots welcome!
        and
Homophobes don't get special speaking slots!!
        and
        Separate water fountains for misogynists!!!

        Disgusting.

A 47% return on investment--that's pretty doggoned good!

    •  Ah the old "Why are you intolerant of bigots" (4+ / 0-)

chestnut.   Never gets old, does it?

Who will think of the racists and bigots?  The humanity!   I thought Democrats were inclusive, why did they bar the anti-gay bigot from an event?  This just proves how intolerant the left is!

Yeah I've heard this shit before.

The tent got so big it now stands for nothing.

      •  Well the truth hurts, I supoose. (0+ / 0-)

Its not like anybody is 'right' or 'wrong' in terms of what they do or dont like. People certainly have the right to be morally opposed toward being gay. And they also have the right to have a valid opinion in other matters.

If it all boils down to 'well this rape is differnt from this rape' or 'this inclusion is different from this inclusion', its just a matter of degree, and we're all bullshitting.

What I find hilarious is that we're all hypocrites deriding others for their hypocrisy. Im not advocating being accepting of or sympathetic toward anyone. Im honestly amused.

I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.

What they don't have is the right to speak at an event that celebrates a President elected to represent all people.

We wouldn't tolerate a preacher that hated people because of race, and we don't have to tolerate ones that hate people for being gay.

You can be amused all you like.   You have that right.

The tent got so big it now stands for nothing.
