    whereby these wingnuts could keep you from soiling their pristine views of alternate reality?

    Why on earth would Twitter make it so easy for one user to get another entirely banned or suspended? After all, their business model (to the extent that they have one) is based on having MORE users, who use Twitter MORE, no?

      I've used it on many folks who "following" me but clearly just pitching products and stuff.   Easy as pie: you click a hotbutton that says "block."  Clearly, Hostess (or whoever) wants to silence bluebarnstormer in a more significant way.
