She is probably not successful enough to have a great scandal, but this diary alludes to some inconsistencies in how she behaves.

Both Michelle and Marcus have no problems taking lots of government funds for themselves (house, farm, business), while trying to deny government support to anyone else.

Suggesting vaccines cause brain damage during her presidential campaign probably was not a good idea.

While not a scandal, pictures of her hiding in the bushes watching what I think was a gay-rights rally (while she was in MN State House of reps) is always an enduring image.

    •  Maybe she was looking for Marcus. n/t (2+ / 0-)

You're a Congresscritter.  Staff out your opposition stalking!

If you have any staff left, that is.

... This has something to do with the buried lede in the statement by her New Hampshire staff, who quit en masse after the aforementioned months of non-payment. I seem to remember that, a few grafs into it, they mentioned how several of them had been witness to some sort of unethical or even illegal behavior by someone close to the candidate, but that they were otherwise going to be keeping quiet about it for the sake of the conservative movement.

At the time we speculated that maybe Marcus had hit on some of the men. But maybe it had more to do with financial malfeasance. And that statement was a hint that the campaign had an interest in paying up.

        From the Team-NH resignation statement:

During Congresswoman Bachmann‟s recent trip to New Hampshire, several incidents happened that concerned some members of Team-NH. Those incidents will remain private, but they were serious enough for some members to depart the campaign.
