    "murder suicide" just got me 209,000,000 hits.
    "father mom murder-suicide" just got me 3,450,000 hits
    murder=264,000,000

    Diarist may well be right.

        I was duplicating the searches in the other diary and got different results. After the first two items I simplified my presentation as I was searching only a single term.

        Quotes in a Google search specifies an exact string to find and is handy when looking to prove plagiarism.

        •  Yeah, I know about using quotes ... (0+ / 0-)

          ... in searches.  Very useful for looking for a specific document, whether for plagiarism or for finding the original doc.  Just didn't know whether or not you included in your test searches so I tried both ways.  Number of google hits appears to be meaningless.

          I do always get a kick out of finding just one, tho, and got fairly close.
