  •  If you run Firefox (8+ / 0-)

    Install the NoScript addon.  That prevents any JavaScript from running that you don't specifically authorize.

    It isn't Java that is the problem, it is the Java Plugin.  If you run Firefox on Linux go to:

    Tools>Addons>Plugins and Disable the Java plugin if you have it running

        ... I'm pressed for time this morning.  It looks like Iced Tea extends the Java Development Toolkit.  I am not sure if the JDK needs to be installed for Iced Tea to work, sorry.

        To be safe, if you're not sure, I'd disable it.

        I haven't been here long enough to be considered a Kossack, does that mean that I'm just a sack?
