    on my laptop, because I refused to "upgrade" to 9.0 after it created so many problems on my desktop. Is it so out of date as to be a security risk in itself at this point, in addition to this specific threat? I've since upgraded to Firefox on my desktop, so I suppose I might as well upgrade to it on the laptop too.

      ... from my days as a web developer, so I can't give you an unbiased answer.  But more than likely, you are more susceptible than the rest of us if you are not running the latest browser using the latest plugins.  In addition, you absolutely must allow Norton or whatever AV/Firewall program you have installed to update it's virus definitions and firewall rules.

      I haven't been here long enough to be considered a Kossack, does that mean that I'm just a sack?
