    2) i think enough could be found  (perhaps not 80,000) although probably more would want to go just not have the bucks.      

    3) Elon Musk is unique so I don't negate this.

      No, definitely not Vegan -- very much an omnivore even as I / my household strives to have a larger share of our life vegetarian (rarely vegan -- while I am happy w/forms of margarine, others in family are butter addicts and we're all big cheese eaters).  

      And, definitely a thanks in your posting.  So much stuff out there and I likely would have missed without your posting. I think this is 'cool' in terms of consideration.  And, there is power in what Musk does/can do.  And, this has me thinking in other/related directions.  Thus, thanks again.

        and not vegetarian.  but, definitely would be interesting to pick his brain on this (and other) subjects.

        Oh, and i'm not considering going to Mars lol.  I would like to be a part of  righting  our burning Earthship.

          Chances of long term success of such a colony are MUCH less than Jamestown, and zero if the Earth base can no longer re-supply them.
