    My parents had a tank with grey water brought in.  We took navy showers, and tried to catch the water in buckets, said water being used to flush the toilets.  For #2 only, #1 was left standing.  There were signs in the restaurant that said, "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down."  They served food on paper plates.  One time, because we lived in an old house with a couple of leaks, we came close to exceeding our monthly quota (12 gallons per person/day).  My girlfriend's family agreed to let me come over to shower.
