... inconsistency, their hypocrisy and misdeeds aiming to peel off as many more decent ones; because these do exist and delusional, fools, or whatever the characterization that you or anyone else choose to pin on them, they and their views should be respected, if we fail to do this, it'd be like throwing rocks in our own glass ceiling which consists of our own beliefs that for many of them are misguided at best.

      And I'm just saying...

If the true "hypocrites" could finally see their own hypocrisy out in the open, exposed...what a wonderful world it would be.

We have an issue with guns in this country and need to figure out what kind of regulations work best to solve the issue as best we can. We are living in the world in 2012.

Someone says "we should look to the moral authority of Jesus (WWJD) to help us solve this."

Someone needs at this point to point out the gorilla in the room.... there was no Jesus, so the suggested solution is moot.  It's like saying we should look to what the Great Oz says about guns.

Now if that response is taken as being disrespectful just because it involves religious beliefs, then we are never going to get past it and move on to placing the conversation in the context of reality and reason.
