    Java was disabled in an update.  I think Chrome did that, too.  I contacted McAffee since I have their security and antivirus installed and they told me not to worry.

    You need Java for a whole lot more than games (they're going nuts on the game site I go to).  Java has just gone to hell after it left Sun Microsystems and got bought by Oracle.

    There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

      I evidently didn't get the message - I'm on Firefox, and the site (as well as everything else I've done online today) seems perfectly normal. I am I courting disaster here? (PS -- FWIW I'm on a Mac).

      Others have simply gotten old. I prefer to think I've been tempered by time.
