as The Corporations are running the government and the election democracy-facade is the little part us citizens can play, yet WE ALL KNOW its the Most Money that wins..and the Big Corporations put lots of money in most parties so the Corporations really Win no matter which Party was elected 'through the democracy/facade of for the people by the people..It's Broken (if it ever was really real..)

the "demos" (the people) rule. It's a mistake of hearing. What we actually have is "de-mock-crazy" or as composer/performer/activist Fela defined it "demonstration of craze."

      Hope this helps clarify.

A no-longer scrolling diary of mine tried to deal with the perceptions present in yours:
"A, B, 7, jingle fly, TACO!" Cognitive Dissonance in the Time of Crises

of course, as we all know, the key to the mystery is that the only difference between the political/economic class and organized crime is that organized crime has to let the legitimate authorities get their beak wet. Hence, fines on Bankers which amount to 2 or 3% of their take on fraud and drug-money laundering.

Markos! Not only are the Gates Not Crashed, they've fallen on us. Actual Representatives are what we urgently need, because we have almost none.
