    It is no coincidence that America's wealth imbalance had gotten worse during the 30+ years of Reaganomics. Like it or hate it, Reaganomics has re-defined tthe way Americans govern themselves. Since 1980, there's been only two years where federal revenue met expenses. Then George Bush was elected and the Bush tax cuts put the pedal to the metal on the Reaganomicsmobile.

    During the 2008 campaign, then-candidate Obama mentioned he'd like to have alegacy like Ronald Reagan's, which is to say a transformative role. Which to my ear sounds like PBO would like to put an end to the Reaganomics Era. Lord knows it has to happen soon or else Reaganomics will put an end to the USA. So that day is coming one way or another.

    Of course, the deepest-thinking Obama-Haters have crowed ever since that this comment means PBO wants to do the exact same things as PRR. But the Obama-Haters find things to hate in everything, so ...
