    The fact remains that of the developed nations which were affected by the 2008 crisis, the US response measures best  on the Austerity-to-Keynesian spectrum, as compared to those other nations. So considering the prevailing political atmosphere and clampdown on lending by international banks, our national leaders did better than the competition.

    Does that mean that in this decision there were only winners? Of course not. As with every major decision there are winners and losers. Nothing in life is pure and simple ... well ... except for throwing around labels.
