    Guinea, and other nations throughout the developing world, at least have a reason for lack of infrastructure, insufficient health care and educational facilities, etc.

    They're poor.

    Some are poor because of a lack of resources, some are poor due to a difficult climate that precludes a prosperous agricultural economy, others are poor because of endemic corruption and misrule which is a legacy of colonialism.

    And the places which don't have these problems, but have instead CHOSEN not to provide services for all their people? You know....rich countries whose ruling class just doesn't care and is aided and abetted in many ways by the ignorance of the people who are oppressed?

    Yeah, that's right. Who does that sound like?
